Here are the official results from my post !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! regarding cars that you would purchase if they were “perfectly” reliable.
5. 1983 Jaguar XJ12, that fine corinthian leather.
I shall call you mini jaguar
4. Ferrari Testarossa, the entry price may be steep, but damn what a dream come true.
Your mom drives a Testarossa
3. FD RX-7, Need I say anything more? One of my dream cars as a teenager.
BRRAAAAPPPP
2. E60 BMW M5 V10, one of my dream cars as an adult.
1. Audi All-Road. Because everybody needs a reliable family car, any why so many people buy Subaru Outbacks.

Sorry to be nitpicky, but that is not an E60 in your photo.

Also, that’s the wrong Allroad. We want the A6, not that A4!

Next week: Top 5 Oppo members that cars would own if they were perfectly reliable.

I use my time fixing my cars not so much driving them. So reliability isn’t a very big issue. I like all of your examples except the Allroad as there’s isn’t a single point in those that would make them interesting.

When friends ask me about Oppo, I say it’s a cool community of cars and the people they own.

Definitely the FD! I still want to own one either way, regardless of it being reliable I have to have one some day and not put an LS in it. The only problem is doubt they are ever going to get cheaper.

God, I glanced at Craigslist yesterday looking at Jags and one was a $1200 XJS with a reliable SBC 350. I almost had stupid thoughts of purchasing.

I kinda want an FD or turbo II one of these days too, brilliant cars when they are running.
